I use the free version of the WP-User-Frontend and am thinking of going pro.
    There is just one question:

I want the user to be able to add images to the post. I tried your demo site but nothing happens when I click the “Inser Photo button”.
The question is, does still the media-library appear, so the user can choose from previously uploaded images, like in the free version?

I hope so, because I need that option!

    Best regards!

The “insert photo” button works across almost all the browsers. Which browser are you trying? The media library button was removed from WP User Frontend editor option and replaced by the “insert photo” button which is used to upload and insert the photo instantly to the post content area. So I fear your users won't be able to select image from media library.
