I'm trying to add a parent page but it does not seem to fully work. I added a new parent page and attached it to an existing page. I went to the menus section and added the new page below the existing page. The parent page seems to be showing fine, the issue is, I cannot access or click on the existing page. When I click the existing page, it simple displays a drop down menu with the parent page in it but does not take me to the existing page.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks very much.September 14, 2014 at 12:37 pm #26760

It's now been four days and no response, I'm starting to get extremely frustrated. The so called ”support” here is non existent. How can you sell a theme and provide such shockingly bad support? I cannot afford to wait 4 days for a response. Time is money and your wasting my time.

We released a newsletter and notified via our Facebook page, not to update WooCommerce. The latest update is causing the problem. If you have a full site backup with woocommerce 2.1.12, please restore that and your problem will be solved.September 20, 2014 at 1:05 am #27063September 20, 2014 at 4:19 am #27071September 23, 2014 at 1:36 am #27252

Hello Paul, my apology for not getting any replies. We are working on our support area.
The Parent Page: It's actually a problem the framework we are using and it's called Bootstrap from Twitter. The theme CSS is powered by bootstrap and it takes a mobile first approach. Means, when you are from mobile and/or tablet, you can't hover on a dropdown, so it won't slide down and show the rest of the menu. Instead, you have to click it and the child menus will show. Thats the way it works. But its a really good solution if you are from mobile devices.
We could make a fix, but in that case the dropdown won't work.
If you see our websites navigation menu too, our parent dropdown links are not clickable. Instead, we put the same link on the dropdown.September 23, 2014 at 1:59 am #27258
Ok I understand. However, when I tested your website, when I hover the mouse button over a page, the drop down automatically appears, without me having to click it. Is that possible to do? Currently, you need to click the page to see the drop down on my site.
When you say you can make a quick fix but the drop down will not appear. What do you mean? I'm a bit confused because wouldn't that just be a stand alone page then with no parent pages attached to it.
Thanks for the response.September 24, 2014 at 4:28 am #27351
Well that's another 26 hours wasted, yet again, waiting on a reply. I originally open this thread and explained my problem 9 days ago and I still have not found a solution. Do you have any idea how much of my time you have wasted? I cannot get anything done until the navigation of my site is fixed, it's extremely important. Right now, everything is all over the place.
I have used wordpress for over 7 years now and have used and tested literally hundreds of themes, never in my life have I came across a theme that has parent pages which work in the way the Dokan themes do. When you add parent pages and a drop down menu, you cannot access the original page. If I was to go down the route of your set up where I put the same link on the drop down then I still have a completely blank page that people cannot access unless they go to the url, it's just a ludicrous set up.
This is not the way parent pages should work. The set up and navigation of my site is absolutely vital, right now, it's a complete mess. I have to create 2 of the same pages and it's extremely confusing, it messes up the permalinks, it's not good for SEO and it's extremely frustrating. I just want it to work the way it's supposed to, like any other website. You click the page and it takes you to that page or you hover your mouse button over it and the drop down appears so you can access the parent pages. How can you possibly have a page that cannot be accessed in the main menu? That's just not logical. I have to create a same page in the drop down but then that leaves a complete blank pointless space wasting page.
I would appreciate it if you could actually get back to me and help. I've paid about $250 for this theme and some add ons, I deserve some half decent support. It's taking forever to fix such minor issues and it's holding me and my business back significantly.
