I'm considering purchasing Dokan for the marketplace I'm building, just trying out the lite version to see how well it will fit. Unfortunately it has a conflict with a plugin that is very important to my site, BP Global Search from buddyboss. When Dokan lite is activated the search bar does not function properly in that you can not click the drop down suggestions (only when using chrome oddly enough). I'm not a developer but I believe this is a problem with ajax?
I have installed this plugin in dokan lite and found everything is working fine. When I search a product, the product then appears with a box and when I click the product it redirects me to the post, product page etc. Please check this screenshot
You can disable all your plugins except Dokan-lite and switch to a default theme of WordPress like – Twenty Twelve, Twenty Thirteen, Twenty Fourteen and let me know the results.
Thanks for getting back to me. It seems to be a theme conflict, when I use my Buddyboss theme and have both Dokan and BP Global Search activated the problem occurs. If I switch to twenty thirteen it works fine as you say (my apologies for not checking the theme before I posted, I just presumed it was a plugin conflict).
So this leaves me a little stuck. The more I play around with it the more I like the Dokan plugin to let my vendors manage their products. But the site is built around the buddyboss theme and plugins. I'm going to post a support ticket on buddyboss.com now, but if you have any ideas for what I could try, I'd really appreciate it.
