Nayem I would like to change the content of the registration confirmation email. See here: Also I would like to include the user's 'username' in the email so they have a record of it. In the code where can I make these changes?

Ok, I’ve found the file where the email is generated: frontend-form-profile.php

I could modify that file but it might get overwritten with a future plugin upgrade. Copying and modifying the code in my child theme function file does not seem to work.

Is there another method I could use?

You have to override the entire file through child theme. Create a folder in your child theme with the name “pm” and place the file into this folder. Then try to override the file.

Thanks, I’ll try that. Three more questions:

1) Why is the folder called ‘pm’
2) Is there a line of code I could include that would display the user’s ‘username’ in the email so they have a reminder?
3) When the user click the activation link should they be automatically logged in or do they need to enter their username and password?

1. I am really sorry. You are using WP User Frontend so the folder name should be “wpuf”

2. Right now I do not have any code snippets for this. It is custom feature which is not included in the email template.

3. I have to check again to confirm. Please allow me some time.
