    Hello,

My site is running in beta — slumlordshaming.com.

I am using WP Frontend Pro to allow users to upload featured images under the “contributor” permission. With a test account, however, if I try to upload an image via the frontend from my phone, an error message arises that says: “The file you have uploaded exceeds the file size limit. Please try again.”

This problem does not arise from the backend as an administrator. However, it will still arise if I change my test account to administrator but try to upload from the frontend.

My host allows for file uploads up to 128 megs, and I inserted a php.ini file into my theme (twentyfourteen) in an effort to enable larger uploads, but to no avail.

It's possible the problem is related to frontend permissions not talking to backend permissions. (Then again, I really have no idea.) Nonetheless, I believe you can help. What is the fix to enable large file size uploads from the frontend?

Your plugin is the best of its kind on the market. Thanks for the help.

    Mike

Resolved. It was hiding in plain site. The default value when utilizing the “Featured Image” button is 1024kb. I bumped it up and all fixed.
