Tareq Hasan | Hi, Sorry if this is obvious, but I am using the plugin to create a post. Many of the fields are appearing correctly in the post, but I am using the Google map field and it is not displaying in the post? Do I have to install any other plug ins to make this work? I am using this on a fresh install of Wordpress using theme twenty twelve. Also should the date field appear in the post, as it is not displaying. If it helps, my temp site is at http://moorlandguides.co.uk/2014/ |

Tareq Hasan | Hi, There are two ways to display the map in the post. 1) Using shortcode 2) Using php function in the theme. For example, please look here. I see your date field in the post as: This entry was posted in Uncategorized on June 27, 2013. |

hummingb | Thanks Tareq, Re date. – I was hoping to use the date in the post which will be an event. Will I have to use a text field. The other option is if I could use gravity forms with fronted. Can Frontend edit any posts not created with the plugin? Sorry to ask silly questions!!! |

Tareq Hasan | There is an option in the plugin settings “Custom Fields in post”. Mark it checked and all your custom fields will be appended in your post. There is some bug while showing the map (it shows latitude/longidue only), I just fixed it and now it’ll show the map instead. You’ve to download the plugin again from your account and install it to fix the bug. So checking that box, your event date and map both will show on your posts. The plugin with work with existing posts too. All you’ve to do is to assign a form to edit those existing posts. How can you do that? Goto edit post in backend and there is a meta box “WPUF Form” and select a form and update your post. Then you’ll be able to edit that post in frontend too. |
