Tareq Hasan Hello, Is it possible to save customized language files in wp-content/languages/ in order to overrule the language files in the plugin's folder, so these don't have to be copied into the plugin folder after every plugin update? Thanks in advance for your reply! Kind regards, Emiel

Hello Emiel,

Our plugin is not written to pickup language file from wp-content yet, but that would be a good idea to do so.

Thanks for the idea.

Hi Tareq,

Thanks for your reply. I’m glad to hear you think it’s a useful idea. Can you mention in the changelog or through this support thread when you got this functionality added? Thanks a lot in advance and thanks for the wpuf pro plugin overall!

Kind regards,
Emiel

Following up here.

Actually WordPress does this by default. If WP doesn’t find the language file in the plugin folder, it searches on the wp-content/language folder. So for WPUF, the search path is: wp-content/languages/plugins/wpuf-nl_NL.mo
