towhid Is there a way to override the edit link only for subscribers? I have a form where subscribers can post and edit their own short stories, and overriding the edit link works good for them. However, I would like authors/editors/admins to have still have a "normal" edit link.

Hello Maria,

I did not understand your question clearly. Can you please send me a screenshot. I want to know through which form element you want to enter the edit link for authors/editors/admins?

Thank You 🙂

Sorry, I’ll rephrase that. 🙂

I’m talking about the edit link that exists on all posts.

In the WPUF settings, there is the option to override the edit link for all posts and replace it with a link to my WPUF edit form. The problem is that I would like to use the override option only for subscribers.

I want subscribers to edit their posts with my WPUF edit form, because I don’t want them to see the back end. And this works fine with the override option in the settings.

But I want to authors, editors and admins to edit posts via the back end, because it gives them more options.

Does that make more sense? Is it possible to show different edit links based on user role?

Hello Maria,

I am really sorry to say that we do not have this feature right now. To avail this feature you need to do huge customization. You can do it yourself or you can hire a developer. But we do not provide support customization. Please read our support policy- http://wedevs.com/support-policy/.

Thank You 🙂
