| noomia | Hi Tarek ! 1. When my users have created a post, the post status is "Pending". When the users edit a post, the post status is "Published". But I don't want to allow the users to edit a "Pending" post. How could I do that ? Right now, I've got the "edit" link even if the post is "Pending" ! So if users edit the "Pending" post, the post status changed to "Published"... Which is bad :D ! 2. When the user creates a post, it will be "Pending". Is there a way to display a message to the user like "Your post has been created and is waiting for admin approval." or something like that ? 3. WHen the admin publishes a post, is there a way to notify the post author by mail that his post has been accepted or rejected ? Thank you very much :) ! |

| Sorry for replying late, but yes, I see that as a problem. May there should be an option that a user can’t edit his post when it’s in “pending” status. That might solve your problem. |

| No, there’s isn’t any option like that. The options should be added for this kind of problems. There are plugins that notify the user when the post status changes, so you could use one. |
