Tareq Hasan | Hello, I just downloaded the plugin, I think its great, will really be useful. BUT, all I have done so far is make a few "projects" buy clicking on new projects- nothing more. But- What happened is the names of the projects show up on the front end of the site as comments under the default wordpress comments plugin. I have no idea why this is showing here. They are NOT comments on the projects, its just the name of the project that shows as a comment. Is there a way to turn this OFF? I only want staff in the backend to see anything about the plugin. Thanks for the help . |

Tareq Hasan | Is that the default WP recent comment widget? Comments from projects are made hidden via filter. They shouldn’t be seen in frontend. Can you check deactivating other plugins and with default WP theme? A comment was created because you created a project. And what you see as the project activity, they are just comments on a |

brianduprey | Yes it is the default comments widget. Called “Recent Comments”. I do not have a comments plugin. You can see what I am talking ab0ut in the right sidebar here: http://spacecoastpreppers.com. I will make it visible for a few minutes, but it looks bad. I have several plugins, so I don’t even know where to begin deactivating them, and I would rather not change the theme or turn off plugins as there is traffic on the site and it would take quite a while to go through all the plugins. I do not see the “comments” listed as comments in the regular comment menu in the backend of wordpress. They are only the names of the new “projects” I made. Wish there was a way to turn off this comment type. Please help. Thanks! |

Tareq Hasan | Comments became hidden in the initial release, I haven’t seen this issue since and nobody reported. Definitely some plugins conflicting here. |

brianduprey | So what do I do? Where do I look? I can’t just shut down the whole site, Anywhere in particular to look first? Thanks. |

Mahi | @brianduprey – please be patience 🙂 , try to deactive your plugins one by one first and check accordingly. |

Tareq Hasan | Testing in the live site is a bad idea. I suggest you install a test site and install the plugin first. Then try to install other plugins as your live site has. That way you could find out which one is conflicting. |

brianduprey | Like I said, I have a lot of plugins and things going on. I can’t turn them all off. I’d deactivate this plugin before I waste a ton of time with that. I don’t mean to be rude, I like your plugin, and want to use it, it would be great. But I wish you could give me somewhere to look other than just deactivate all my other plugins that are working. Everything about the plugin seems to be working except this one quirk. |

Tareq Hasan | It’s not possible to know how a plugin can create conflict and where. The only way to find it by trying to reproduce the problem. It’s only possible if you try so. |

jazras | Just had the same problem. Created a project and some todo tasks. Then deleted them and the project. Recent comments though continued to show the 2 Project Activities that I had just deleted. Recent comments showed 3 comments but on clicking through only one comment from an area not to do with project Manager displayed-the only valid comment there should be. So where were those other two comments? I deactivated all plugins and no change -except in Recent Comments the two hidden comments showed up -the two activities from Project Manager -oddly there were no check boxes beside them so that they could be removed. The issue is strictly with deleted Project Manager activities displayed as comments on the Front page recent Comments Widget.

Tareq Hasan | So you are saying, you’ve deleted the tasks and the project itself and those activities are still showing in the frontend recent comment? Even all the plugins are disabled? I am not sure hows this happening, can you say how can I reproduce the bug? Which theme you are using? Whats the WordPress version and which plugins are installed? |

brianduprey | Is there any word from the developers about the BUG? Thanks. |

Tareq Hasan | As I can’t regenerate the bug on my machine, I need to debug on those machines that problem is arising. Will do that as soon I get some free time. |
