obiora Hi, for the Dokan plugin, I'd like to convert all input > text tags to select > option when a user is editing a product's attributes in their seller account. I'll have about a dozen attribute values for each attribute and with the way Dokan is currently set up, all of the attributes show in a list form and have to be manually removed by the seller from the frontend. Can you assist me with this? I've gotten as far as converting the li's to options in a select tag, however the attributes disappear when updating the product, instead of saving. I'd really really appreciate any help. Thank you!

Hello Torijunks,

Please make sure that you have change the product type as- variable product.

Thanks.

Hi Nayem! Yes, I’ve set it as a variable product but my issue is for both simple & variable products.
For clarity, I’ve attached a screenshot of the area I’m referring to. Is there any guidance you can give me to have the ‘Colors’ appear in a ‘select’ dropdown instead of ‘input text’? Basically, I have pre-defined attributes set and I don’t want my users to have to remove every attribute that doesn’t apply to their product.

As I’ve said before, I’ve gotten as far as converting the li’s to options in a select tag, however the attributes disappear when updating the product, instead of saving. 🙁

Hello,

You did not select the product type as variable product. After changing the product type to variable then there will be a new tab -“Variation”

Thanks.

I’m sorry, I don’t think you understand my question. I’ve found a similar one here: https://wedevs.com/support/topic/dokan-attributes-dropdown/

It looks like I have to edit these files:
/wp-content/plugins/dokan-plugin/classes/ajax.php
/wp-content/plugins/dokan-plugin/includes/wc-functions.php
/wp-content/plugins/dokan-plugin/templates/edit/attributes.php
/wp-content/plugins/dokan-plugin/templates/edit/templates-js.php

Nayem, nevermind, I’ve found a quick solution and changed the input type to checkbox 🙂 That’ll do for now.
