Nayem How can I redirect a user to their dashboard after they have logged in. At present, after they have logged in, they are redirected to the home page. Thanks

Hello,

You can use this plugin to redirect your user to a specific page- https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpuf-login-redirect/.

Thanks.

I have installed and activated the plugin and set the redirect page to Dashboard. However, after login the user still defaults to the home page.

I think I can see where the problem might lie. I have set the permalinks to ‘descriptions’ so I can easily see which page I’m being directed to.

In this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/MfP0jOtrg7u it is calling ‘6’. It does this whether the redirect plugin is activated or not. I’m guessing there is no ‘6’ so WP is defaulting to the index.

You can try with the permalinks post name.

Otherwise you can use this custom code-

add_filter('wpuf_login_redirect', 'login_redirect');
function login_redirect($redirect){

 $redirect =	home_url('/your own page') ;
return $redirect;
}

Custom Code works fine. Maybe include for the next version?

Thanks
