Great plugin and support, go for it!
Originally I have started to set up my multivendor store with a different ecommerce plugin but after loosing over 2 months with them to solve a bug in one of their premium plugins and missing basic functionality, I decided to give it a try with Woocommerce and the Dokan Multivendor plugin.
At first I tried the lite plugin which didn’t work properly but support was very fast and helpful to make it work (plus they will release a new lite version soon so don’t be afraid to give it a try). A couple of days later I bought the pro plugin and now have much more functionality out of the box then what I had with the other ecommerce plugin.
Due to my theme, the seller’s page didn’t display correctly but the Dokan support reacted and solved it fast. They actually make it work themselves or give you the CSS code which you need to add. Having the experience with the other plugin and a theme specially designed for that plugin, the Dokan support goes way further in help then the others I have experience with. Where the others immediately directed you to a developer or said it falls outside of their support scope for basic functions of their plugins, Dokan really goes to the limit with their support. Of course, real customisation of functions to your wishes falls outside of support, which is normal.
If I would have to tell an improvement, it would be the possibility of the seller’s dashboard to automatically integrate with other Woocommerce plugins such as Woocommerce ‘product add-ons’ when they are installed as they give important functions for the sellers. But I understand this is not an easy task and it’s something you also don’t get with other ecommerce solutions.
All in a great plugin which made me decide to switch to Woocommerce and Dokan Multivendor to launch my live site.
