Some years leave a mark. 2025 was one of them. Not because we moved the fastest, but because we moved with care. We shipped consistently across products and invested deeply in stability and design. Every team worked toward the same goal to make our products easier to use, logical to trust, and accessible to grow with.

Across the weDevs ecosystem, millions of downloads, hundreds of releases, and thousands of support conversations shaped the year. Our flagship products have matured, and new platforms have gained traction.

More importantly, we balanced speed with responsibility. We adopted an AI-powered workflow, updated regularly, and still made time to fix issues and listen closely to feedback. Here’s what stood out at a glance:

More Than Code: The Story of weDevs in 2025

In 2025, we made deliberate choices about where to invest our time, energy, and resources. We didn’t try to do everything. Instead, we focused on doing the right things well.

One of our biggest bets was doubling down on product stability and usability. Rather than chasing surface-level features, we improved what our users already depended on.

That meant more meaningful releases, cleaner interfaces, better performance, and fewer friction points across our products.

At the same time, we continued expanding beyond traditional WordPress plugins. Dokan Cloud and Klasio reflected our commitment to modern platforms and simpler infrastructure experiences.

Behind all of this was a long-term investment in people and processes. We grew the team carefully, used AI wisely, introduced new internal policies, and focused on sustainable ways of working. We believe strong products come from healthy teams, and we treated that belief seriously.

The journey began in 2013 with a simple mission, shared by Tareq Hasan, our Founder and CTO, and me: to empower WordPress users by making the platform more flexible and powerful. In 2025, that mission continued to guide every decision we made.

Annual Dinner Night 2025

The Annual Dinner Night was a chance to slow down and celebrate the year together. It brought everyone under one roof to reflect on shared wins, challenges, and the journey that shaped the previous year. Good food, great conversations, and plenty of laughter made the night one to remember.

Annual Sports Meet 2025

The Annual Sports Meet turned an ordinary day into a high-energy celebration of teamwork and friendly competition. From intense matches to cheerful sidelines, the event showed how collaboration and spirit shine both on and off the field. It was all about participation, encouragement, and having fun together.

This year, the Marketing team claimed the Cricket trophy, and the Engineering team returned with the Football title, proving team spirit runs beyond our desks.

Product Enthusiasts' Meetup A.I. Edition

This brought learning and inspiration together. From insightful talks to meaningful conversations, the event showcased the power of the WordPress community. These highlights capture the ideas, connections, and moments that continue to inspire growth and innovation.

We turned our Dhaka HQ into a hub for the broader tech community.

weFamily Day 2025

weFamily Day was all about togetherness. Team members, parents, spouses, and children came together to share joy beyond work. Through games, laughter, and relaxed moments, the day strengthened bonds and reminded everyone that behind every role is a family that supports the journey.

This was the heartbeat of our cultural calendar. Under the theme “Together we shine, together we celebrate, together we grow,” all team members and their families gathered for an unforgettable day at Aronnobash.

• Bridging the Gap: The event allowed parents, spouses, and children to see the work behind the “daily grind” and meet the founders.
• weFamily Gifts: A variety of gifts were shared with each employee and their family members as a token of appreciation.
• The Highlights: A scenic retreat filled with games (like the traditional Hari Vanga), a raffle draw, and the distribution of the EmployeeKit 2025. It reaffirmed that we don't just work together, we grow as a family.

We Celebrated 12 Years as a Team and Community

In March 2025, we marked our 12th anniversary as a company. It was a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come, from a small team with a big idea to a global community of creators, builders, and problem-solvers.

We celebrated with exclusive offers across our products and heartfelt appreciation for every user, partner, and team member who has been part of the journey.

This anniversary wasn’t just about numbers. It was a culture moment, a chance to pause, thank each other, and recommit to building tools that empower people without friction.

FlyWP & Klasio Success Party

This celebration honored the milestones achieved by FlyWP and Klasio. It was a moment to recognize the hard work, late nights, and teamwork that turned ideas into real success. The party reflected pride, gratitude, and excitement for what lies ahead.

weDevs Hackathon 1.0

weDevs Hackathon 1.0 brought innovation to the forefront. Teams came together to brainstorm, build, and test ideas in a fast-paced environment. The event encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration, proving how powerful focused teamwork can be.

Innovation took center stage during our first major internal Hackathon of the year.

• The Challenge: Teams competed to build functional solutions, with a heavy focus on AI integration.
• The Result: The winning projects showcased everything from AI-powered project management tools to scalable content management workflows, proving that the spirit of invention is alive in every department.

weDevs Annual Tour 2025

The Annual Tour offered a refreshing break from routine. It was a time to explore new places, share experiences, and reconnect as a team. Beyond the travel and fun, the tour helped build stronger relationships and lasting memories.

Inter Software Company Cricket Tournament 2025-26

The Inter Software Company Tournament blended competition with camaraderie. Teams from different companies faced off with skill, respect, and enthusiasm. Every match strengthened connections across the industry and celebrated the spirit of healthy competition.

And, weDevs participated in this prestigious tournament and became the Plate Champion of the Inter Software Company Cricket Tournament. This win says a lot about our team spirit. They bring the same energy to the field that they bring to work.

HR Initiatives and Employee Well-Being in 2025

While all the events were held under the direct supervision of our HR and Admin team, this section highlights the key initiatives.

Supported by our HR team, weDevs closed the year with a growing workforce of 90+ members.

Throughout the year, the HR team focused on strengthening well-being, growth, and connection across the weDevs family. From leadership development and skill-building to expanding healthcare access and fostering togetherness, these initiatives were designed to support both professional and personal life.

Key initiatives led by the HR team include:

• Conducted soft skills and team-building sessions as part of the leadership development program
• Signed corporate healthcare agreements with BRB Hospitals, Islami Bank Hospital, City Hospital, Bangladesh Specialized Hospital, Anwer Khan Modern Hospital, and Delta Hospital
• Extended the DocTime partnership to provide zero-cost medical consultations for team members and their families
• Organized an in-office nutrition session focused on performance, productivity, and healthy planning

Last but not least, kudos to our Accounts team for maintaining accuracy across all records and consistently disbursing salaries before the end of each month.

In 2025, we continued to show up for the WordPress community not only online, but in person. Across Asia and beyond, we focused on building real connections, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the ecosystem that supports millions of creators worldwide.

WordCamp Dhaka and a Year of Giving Back

Back home, WordCamp Dhaka 2025 brought together developers, entrepreneurs, and contributors from across Bangladesh. Our presence reinforced our long-term commitment to the local ecosystem and highlighted the growing influence of WordPress in the region.

Our commitment to the community was most visible at WordCamp Dhaka 2025, where we proudly served as the Lalbagh Legacy (Platinum) Sponsor. For us, this was more than sponsorship. It was about supporting a space where learning, collaboration, and contribution thrive.

weDevians played active roles throughout the event as organizers, volunteers, and speakers. Our Founder and CTO, Tareq Hasan, joined the keynote panel, and I shared insights on emerging topics like AI and its impact on WordPress.

Beyond events, this spirit of giving continued through the weDevs Foundation. Throughout the year, the foundation supported educational aid and medical care for underprivileged communities, ensuring that our growth as a company also created meaningful social impact.

Connecting In Person at WordCamps Across Asia and Beyond

Being part of the WordPress community matters to us not only as product builders but as people who believe in learning together and growing collectively. In 2025, that belief took us across multiple WordCamps.

At WordCamp Asia 2025 in Manila, we joined as an Author Sponsor. Team members representing FlyWP connected with developers, creators, and agencies from around the world. We shared product demos, exchanged ideas, and gathered direct user feedback that is already shaping product decisions.

At WordCamp Malaysia 2025, our Founder and CTO, Tareq Hasan, took the stage as a keynote panelist. He shared perspectives on the future of WordPress in an era of AI website builders, sparking conversations around innovation, adaptability, and the platform’s evolving role.

These moments were never just about brand visibility. They were human moments. We listened, learned, laughed, and shared space with the people who build with WordPress every day.

WordPress Montclair 2025, weDevs continued its active presence in global WordPress communities in 2025. As part of that effort, Saniul Alam, a member of the weDevs team, joined WordPress Montclair 2025.

His participation reflected our ongoing commitment to staying connected with local WordPress communities, learning from real-world conversations, and contributing to discussions that shape the ecosystem beyond our own products.

Events like these help strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and keep us grounded in how WordPress is used and experienced by people around the world.

weDevs Foundation: Social Impact Beyond Business

At the heart of weDevs is a simple belief: progress should be shared. We feel a deep responsibility to the community we live in. The weDevs Foundation turns this belief into action by standing with communities and responding when people need help the most.

On behalf of the weDevs Foundation, we are honored to share that Monawara, who has received educational support from the foundation since 2022, has successfully secured her place in the 49th BCS under the General Education Cadre (Bangla).

Her journey reflects what becomes possible when dedication meets timely support. This milestone is not only a personal success for her, but also a reminder of why we do what we do.

As of now, the weDevs Foundation has supported 200+ underprivileged students, assisted 1,500+ poor individuals, enabled 100+ toward self-reliance, and engaged 1,000+ volunteers in community action.

This year, in response to the serious cold in Bangladesh, the foundation stepped in to support affected families. With the combined efforts of our team and community, we delivered essential aid to hundreds of households in the affected area.

This year, 7 weDevs products took home wins across 7 different categories at the Template Monster Awards 2025. That’s one proud moment for us.
