WPUF – User Profile Block
The WPUF – User Profile Block allows you to display a complete user profile with a customizable layout and content blocks. You can add this block to the same page as the User Directory Block to create a seamless directory and profile system.
Adding the User Profile Block
- Navigate to your Gutenberg editor.
- From the WPUF – User Directory block group, select WPUF – User Profile.
- Drop the block on the page where you want the user profile to appear.
Once added, it will automatically integrate with the User Directory Block to show individual user details when a directory entry is clicked.
Layout Options
The plugin provides pre-designed layouts for user profiles:
- Sidebar Classic Profile
- Centered Profile
- Modern Card Profile
- Start Blank
To change the profile layout:
- Select the User Profile Block.
- Go to the Block Settings on the right panel.
- Under Layout Settings, click Choose Different Layout.
- Pick your preferred design, or start with a blank layout and add your own blocks.
💡 Both the User Directory and User Profile blocks come with default layouts, but you can customize them as needed.
Customization
You can customize profile content by adding/removing inner blocks like:
- User Avatar
- User Name & Bio
- User Contact Info
- User Posts, Comments, and Files
- User Social Fields
- Custom Fields and Tabs
When customization is complete, simply save the page to publish your directory and profile system.✅
Result: Your directory will now be live, and users can click through the directory to view full profiles in the style you’ve chosen.
