i_ayo Hi, i created a custom post type to be viewed in the dashboard, however the page where im meant to edit the post i.e where the shortcode [wpuf_edit] was put gives the message: “I don’t know how to edit this post, I don’t have the form ID”. Checked the FAQ and looked at the meta box “WPUF Form” but didnt see any form to select. Please how can i sort this out.

You got wrong concept.
Just create a page with [wpuf_edit] shortcode and from General settings area select this page from Edit Page option.

Users can edit their post ONLY from Dashboard and you have to make sure you checked YES on Users can edit post? option.

Does this mean they cant create a new post from the page with the [wpuf_edit] shortcode in it?

You have to create a Form and use short-code of that form in to a Page. Then, users can create posts from that page.

I guess you are very new in this field or not familiar with WordPress?
Take your time – play around with WPUF and Documentation you will be fine.

Its because, you set image field as required field but didn’t upload any image.

Hi,
Im not new and i when i click on the select image button, my windows file browser opens and i select an image to upload.

The image is shown in the form and actually gets uploaded to wordpress but the form wont be processed.

It only works when i dont set image as a required in the required field. However i want the image to be required.
