Matthias If I want to edit a post which has been created by another user with a WPUF Pro form its not possible to edit at the backend even for me as admin. Other problems: The metaboxes are not unfoldable, buttons in the post edit area inside the backend are not clickable. No edit possible... Has anybody here an idea what can be the problem. Has WPUF Pro maybe a buggy rights management? Any help is welcome because I am searching now since weeks and didn't found the solution :-( Thanx. Best regards, Mat

Hello Mat,

It seems like its not happening because of WPUF. If you are a admin, you can edit any post what so ever, from the backend.

And About the other problem, We are pretty sure its happening because of some conflict. We would like to see the live site, so that we can determine what is causing the problem. Sometime other plugin insert several javascript file intro the site, which conflicts with WPUF.

Hi Oritro,

Sorry for the long response time. The problem is still there. In the meantime I have also recorded a movie to demonstrate it.

Yes, the site http://www.mushroom-magazine.com is quite heavy packed with plugins, but we already deactivated plugin by plugin to test if there is a conflict.

Best regards,

Mat

Hello Mat,
Which version of User Front Pro are you using ? The latest version is 2.2.2 please make sure you have the latest version.
And what is the result of checking by deactivating other plugins? I can see a lot of plugins are installed and pretty much sure that the issues are happening because of conflict.

Ok, I have deactivated the plugins one by one and tested if a post was editable with disabled plugins. I found out that if I have Pronamic Google Maps plugin deactivated the “Screen Options” tab was clickable but the content was not able to save with the UPDATE button.

Later I found out that if I deactivate WPUF itself the content was able to save.
Then I looked into the Post settings of the form and found out that the “Post Format” was not able to select. Maybe this is the problem that the post is not editable when a WPUF form is connected with the post ???

And here are the settings/general options: http://www.mushroom-magazine.com/images/bugs/wpuf.png

By the way… To answer your question. I use the latest version WPUF Pro 2.2.3

Thanks for your help.

The account you gave above is not “Admin Account”. I need an account with administrator role to check what’s going wrong.
