Changing currency to $ errors uploading logo

Nayem	Hi, how do I change the currency to the $ sign? And I've attempted to upload my logo in Appearance - Customize - Site Logo but I keep getting an Error message when I upload it at the 180 x 50 size (that seems very small). But I'm unable to view the errors, the only choice that is offered is dismiss errors. I'd upload a screenshot showing the error but there is not an add attachment choice.

Nayem	Hello Scott, To change your currency please navigate to WooCOmemrce->Settings->General->Currency option and change your currency. I am not clear about your second part of your question. Please upload a screenshot shot anywhere in the web and provide me the link here. Thakns.
