Can you please describe your idea a bit more? Are you asking for additional fields in the profile and make a company profile (group) and assign users to that?
If yes, this might be similar to BuddyPress. Please have a look at this docs and let me know.

We have different clients (companies) with diferent contact persons. If I create an invoice in wp-proj I would like to be able to select a pre defined client. And the best thing would be if I could assign client when making the project and that this then is reflected when creating an invoice.

This way we can collect client information, address, etc for a given client and assign project members within that client etc.

Also we are working with different clients and we need each client to have an admin who should be able to see all projects belonging to that client. As project members can only see their own projects.

This could also be solved if we had a client item and that each project belongs to a client.

Hello Mikael,

You can make a project template = a project, that you can copy for future use.

Like- make a project named “Lorem Ipsome”
Now assign 3 co-worker “John, Doe, Rose” and a client “Sean”; nothing more.

After that you can always copy that project (Lorem Ipsome) to get the same format and co-workers every time.

If the above soltion does not fit for you, you have to hire a developer to make this feature for you.
