I just purchased Dokan and have activated it on my site and have made a demo sales user to test the front end of the site. The user is activated, and is approved to sell. The issue is whenever I try to access the dashboard, although the main page shows up fine (saying “start by adding a banner”) whenever I click on ANY of the tabs to the left hand side (eg. products, orders, reports etc.) it comes up with a 404 error page and just won't work at all.

Please navigate to WP admin->Settings->Permalinks. You have to set the permalinks as “Post name” and “Product”. After saving the settings please check and let me know.

This was the first thing I tried, but the product permalink will NOT stay on anything other than custom. If I select product it changes the custom field to /product/ and when I go to save it has switched it to /product (without the end slash).

I have checked your seller dashboard but everything is working fine. I did not get any error.
For license activation-
Please contact with us by using this contact form- http://wedevs.com/contact/. You have to select the question type as- “License activation problem”. We will solve your license issue as soon as possible.

That's so bizarre. I don't understand what's changed then… Oh well as long as it's working!
Also: I just tried making a draft product, though and it says: Choose a category- No categories
In the category section I changed the category from display type: standard to products.

Please open Dokan plugin/templates/new-product.php file. In this file you will get this
'name' => 'product_cat',in line number 87. You have to remove this line from here.
Also in Dokan plugin/templates/product-edit.php file you will get this
'name' => 'product_cat',in line number 279. Please remove this line also from here.

The site is hosted through site ground so I don't use an FTP system. Is that an issue? I normally just login straight through the website.
