bigtom As the site owner I want to charge a subscription fee monthly for vendors as well as a per item fee. Does Dokan offer this? If I want to send paypal payments directly to the vendors with out taking any percentage can I do it with Dokan. I want all the products to default to simple, managed stock with qty 1. I may not want the vendors to change this. Will Dokan do it? I have been trying to decide between Dokan and another vendor theme. My interest is at the developer/unlimited level. The major advantage you have is the front end interface. The other product has a few more features.

Hello Tom,

Nice to know that you are considering our Dokan multi-vendor theme for your project. May i know which one else you are looking at beside Dokan?

Subscription add-on will be available shortly. Developer team is working on it.

– By using Paypal Adaptive payments you sellers can get their money straight way.

– By default its always simple product and regarding stock management, you have to turn if off from Woocommerce settings.

Let us know if you have any further question.

I brought the vendor idea to Matt Gates a long time ago and worked with him to get it going but he ended up going in a direction that did not really work for me. He has decent features, but the interface is not too good.

I have been considering as well WooCommerce Vendor Stores. Also nicely featured with PDF packlists from dashboard and an auction option.

Basically I am not wanting to charge any percentage and the Paypal payment can go 100% to the seller/vendor. The checkout should never show the site owner.

I understand the stock management feature in Woo. So that is managed from Woo and I will work on that. I want stock management set on with qty 1 all the time. Sounds like a woo feature.

Can Dokan deal with vendors who want to do their own credit card processing?

Has Dokan been tested with Paypal installments or something like Lay-Buys that has Woo integration.

Thanks.

Maybe I need a test environment to check out a few things. I tried the demo, but not all the answers are there.

Do you do custom work on Dokan?

How does Dokan handle wire transfer payments to vendors.

Multiple vendors with bank wire payment selected by the buyer?

– Checkout users don’t see any owner’s paypal address it shows parrent user (market owner) paypal address and info

– Dokan doesn’t allow sellers to use their own payment gateway(s)
– No, dokan haven’t been tested with instalment payment/lay-buys.
– Dokan supports WPML , also you can translate it on your own language.
Doc: http://docs.wedevs.com/dokan-in-your-language/
– Mentioned above dokan doesn’t allow sellers to use their any kind of gateway(s)
– Dokan will allow you to export payments for vendors in excel file for Paypal Mass payment structure. As admin/site owner you have to manage it manually, unless you use Paypal Adaptive Payments.

This statement does not really make any sense. Trying to test a paypal payment on your demo fails. I would hope you can answer this.

Understood. I can get this to work another way.

This does not make sense. Maybe because it is not related to my question at all.

With Paypal adaptive payments what happens when the Seller Percentage is set to 100%. Is the Checkout showing Site Owner at 0 or showing nothing at all.

Other plugins allow the percentage to change per vendor. I do not see that with Dokan. I would need to send 100% to the vendor and charge them individually outside of Dokan, right?

Again, Do you do Custom work on Dokan?

Sorry, there were no paypal address setup. You may try now. We are using standard Paypal for demo.

2nd reply was for –

– Dokan doesn’t has any automatic payment option for vendors. As admin you have to payout your vendors manually. Unless you use Paypal Adaptive Payments add-ons.

– Nothing. Anyway, Buyers will not see any vendor’s email address during checkout from paypal when you use Paypal adaptive payments.

– Yes, you can setup commissions individually. So, Vendor A can get 90%, Vendor B can get 95%

Our team is very very with Dokan’s Updates and all others Plugins. So sorry currently we are not offering any custom development. But, very soon we will do so.

Thank you for answering quickly.

Can I turn off or remove the withdraw feature?

Can vendors upload products by CSV? Is Dokan compatible with CSV Import Suite? This is important.

How do shipping costs get split on multi vendor orders?

– no you can’t turn off or remove withdraw feature. Then there is no point to use this theme! You can make their commission 100%

– No sorry. Only admin can do so from backend

– To handle multiple shipping we have this add-on

There is still a great point to use this theme without withdraw, but maybe you do not see it.

This seems silly as I am sure there is a way to remove that tab from view. The other basic issue with Dokan seems to be the immediate posting of the product with only one image and then you get the option to save as a draft and add images after the post is live. I have vendors that use data entry workers who need to post drafts that are then reviewed for errors and then published. Dokan seems to prevent this. My advice would be to fix that, but I do understand the way it works and you need the Post ID to do this. Having a simple draft option would be great.

So I think I may need to just use your WPUF to add a front end to someone else’s plugin. The other plugins offer CSV import and that is an important thing for me.

With regard to WPUF I am having a tough time to understand / figure out how to add things like Product Price to the forms.

I really want to pull the trigger on buying your stuff.

Thanks.
