My Dokan Dashboard is a white screen, and the store pages are not rendering correct. I see the Dokan plugin is using my theme's index.php template? Shouldn't this be page.php? I believe my theme's index is styled to make the homepage unique, so I think most of my rendering problems are CSS. If Dokan were calling the page.php template instead the CSS, including sidebars, should render correct? Please help, I will submit a private message below with new login credentials. I had some security issues, so I had to reset my password.

Never mind, I understand everything goes through index.php now… Do you mind checking my site? My dashboard is a white screen and the store pages are not rendering correctly.

CSS
After lots of CSS tweaks I have my Store page looking good, but it doesn’t adapt to a responsive layout. The Dokan plugin has so many DIVs that hijack theme CSS, this leads me to believe the plugin is not compatible with every theme.

White Screen
I still have a white screen on my Dashboard. Permalinks are set and I ensured this was checked using a Vendor account.

Hello Joseph,

I tried to login to your site but unable due to your maintenance mode.

Please check your dashboard page if it contains the shortcode [dokan-dashboard]. If the shortcode is there and you are still getting the white page, you have to open your wp-config.php and find the line define(‘WP_DEBUG’, ”); and set it to true.
So it will look like define('WP_DEBUG', true);
So you will be able to see the errors what is causing you the issue.

And check if you have turned on “Show map on store page” from Dokan -> Settings -> General.

Hi Sekander,

That’s because I installed Magento. Based on the poor customer service here, bugs, and false advertising (Dokan plugin is NOT compatible for any theme, for example) I made the decision.

I originally posted the white screen issues back on 9/22 (Monday).

I have filed a dispute with my credit card company.

Hello Joseph,
I am really sorry for the inconvenience. Sometimes we get extensive amount of posts here and we need to test things before we answer you. So please try to understand our situation here.

If you can allow me, I can help you to solve things up.

The customer service industry usually revolves around replying to tickets in the order they were received. I highly doubt you were “testing things” on my site. Lies! I call lies! In the United States, people typically file complaints with consumer protection agencies for products like the “Dokan plugin.” You are advertising the plugin is compatible with any WooCommerce theme, however, it clearly is not and therefor that is unethical of WeDevs as a company. Sorry to be blunt, but this is the truth.

Hello Jose,

Sorry for interrupt.

Firstly, Our support member clearly said – he tried to login to your website but he wasn’t able to do so.

Before say anything you should have check your details you provided. I can see you changed the website from WordPress to magento or something else. (login url doesn’t works anymore)

He also, tried his best to provide you instruction how you can proceed to fix it or check it what was going on.

Secondly, we are not advertising anything wrong or false. We know what our products are capable to do so and doing advertising accordingly. We are in this industry more than 6 years now with a solid reputation. It didn’t come in one day! As customer and WordPress user if you don’t know how to do simple css tricks and fix then you shouldn’t step up to manage a website, no way for marketplace website.

and, final thing, you opened paypal dispute then you know you gona lose there so you closed the ticket and requested to reactivate the license for you and we did. Now without let us help you, again you are making up a story! as, loyal customer do you think your stand is right?

Mahi,

Your points:

  • Firstly: I have several open threads, each with days of no help. Also your forum had a security issue with the private messages, so I did revoke an account at one point to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Magento: Yes, I switched my project to Magento because Dokan doesn’t work with my theme.
  • Instruction: How did he try and provide instruction? First of all, there’s no Dokan plugin documentation. I clearly had the shortcode added, because the white screen wouldn’t be there on a page without a shortcode.
  • Secondly: I’m referring to the Dokan plugin, not sure about your other products (hopefully they’re doing well). The plugin does NOT work with “any” theme. Because you’ve been in the business six years, you should know when a product is working or not. Of course I know CSS tricks, but the Dokan issues are mainly revolving around the former theme Divs. Fix the Divs!
  • PayPal: I closed the dispute because I decided to give Dokan another try, but after getting nowhere for days this was obviously a mistake. You also essentially help me hostage, by revoking my license code and removing my support forum access. During this time, your support techs were responding yet I couldn’t say anything back. You also failed to communicate at all via PayPal.
