Robthijs | Hi guys, A weird problem popped up. When I'm entering a 'featured image' from a form on my phone, portrait pictures sometimes turn up 90 degrees counter-clockwise. And when editing the image, ie: replacing the image, the preview of the old image keeps appearing. Probably a cache issue (I'm using WPEngine, they cache aggressivly), but I want to check with you if you have heard these issues before :) Regards, Rob |

Robthijs | I was pretty stunned myself. I saw this thread about a similar problem: Don’t know if any WPUF users experienced this problem.. |

Tareq Hasan | Do you get the same problem while uploading a photo in wp-admin -> media directly? I am not sure if there is any workaround for that problem, because it’s just a uploader that upload photos. If the photo is rotated 90 already, nothing it can do. |

Robthijs | Nevermind guys, it was a resize plugin that was the culprit after all. I thought I got both working nicely together but it was probably only working for landscape pictures: Sorry to take your precious time, but thanks for the quick response! |

Robthijs | Hmm, I was a little victorious too soon. Switched off the plugin and the uploads from iPhone display correctly in mobile view of WPUF, but in wp-admin (and therefore on the product pictures) images are still tilted. Search continues… *edit* It indeed goes wrong with the imageupload to wordpress. Thanks for the tip! |
