Paul | Hi, I'm trying to create a page on a school website for teachers can upload newsletters to. I have created a newsletter form, but I am having problems once I have uploaded a file. The file uploads and appears like this: Then newsletter (a pdf file), doesn't show up on the page I have redirected the posts to, the page remains empty. When I go to the post directly, it looks like this When I click on the pdf file to view it in the post, I get the following error: In the media library the uploaded file looks like this: I have no idea what I'm doing wrong and would really appreciate your advice. |

Tareq Hasan | So the pdf upload is working fine. May be something wrong in that pdf itself? When clicking on the file in media library, do you see uploaded pdf and can open in your pdf reader? |

Paul | I can only view the file directly from the media library. The files aren’t appearing on the page I have redirected the submit button to. I can go to the post directly, but the files can’t view from here either, when I click on the file link, I get the error mentioned above saying i can’t view it. I’ve attempted this with several different files now, so I’m not sure if I’ve created the upload form correctly. |

Tareq Hasan | I just uploaded a new pdf http://kelstonintermediate-2.solutionz-testing.co.nz/test-newsletter/ The pdf uploaded fine and I can download it. So it works. If you want to show all newsletter PDF’s in this page, you’ve code it that way. WP User Frontend can’t do that for you 🙂 |

Paul | Oh, Okay, I see that if I submit the file to view the newly created post, I can now see the file and view the pdf. With regards to your document attachment, what php file do I add the snipped of code to? Sorry about all of the questions, this is quite a learning curve for me! Lol, I thank you for your speedy response and patience!!! 🙂 |
