    Hi,

I was previously using the WP User Frontend plugin before upgrading to the WP User Frontend Pro version. In the free version when a user wanted to add an image they got the option “Add Media” which opened the wordpress media uploader. How can I include this within the Pro version.

If it can be, does the uploader show only media attributable to the user.

    Thanks

    Vikram

Sorry, the media uploader can't be added in the form as the free version. Due to the upload size limit and limitation of number of files can be uploaded, it had to be a custom uploader, not the default media manager. Hope you understand.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

If I therefore want the user to be able to view and edit images that have been added how does one do that.

For example a post type is “gallery,” for this to work in the back end a user would simply upload and attach to the post and select the gallery post type. I wish to re-create this option.

    Regards

Is there a definitive answer on this? It's not productive to have to force a user to have an image available to load into their posts. I hope there is an option where the user can select an image from the media library. Is there?

Sorry, it's not possible for now.

When you do expect this functionality?

This functionality is not going to make in any versions of WPUF's now. It
was not easy to customise the media uploader, so I had to strip that away.

It was too hard to do it? Sorry to hear that. Without it, image management is cumbersome and forces us to use alternatives to create posts.
Guess I put my money in the wrong place.
