I had the same trouble and removing the extra code worked to resolve it but when you have to manipulate the code for such a simple action like registration to the site, it’s clear that this is not simply at out of the box user experience.

I just purchased and installed Dokan today into a brand new WP install and immediately had to alter code. I’m now very nervous about what configuring the remainder of the site is going to be like.

Hello, we just purchased Dokan (1.2) and are having problems with the registration form. When we attempt to register as a seller (filling in the form data and pressing the registration button) nothing happens. There is no message (or confirmation email), no seller is registered in the backend and the registration page does not change. Can you please take a look and see what the problem might be? http://shops.surf/my-account/

@All Please update your Dokan plugin to 1.3 this is fixed on the latest version.
