Tareq Hasan | Hello, I have just tested the WP User Frontend and everything looked great, I could post in the frontend and was able to add media via the wordpress media uploader. I just bought the WP User Frontend Pro and was sadly surprised with the fact that none the upload options (featured image, image upload) allowed the usage of the wordpress media uploader, they send us to the file explorer from the system. Do you know if this is a problema with the PRO version? Is there some setting that needs to be selected in order to call the wordpress media uploader? Thanks. |

Mahi | you dont need to do anything. It should allow you to upload new image. Just for ref – 1. Featured image field is different and make sure you set right image upload size permission 2. in Text Body area you turned – “Enable image upload in post area” 3. There is Image Upload custom field, so you can use it to allow users to upload reglar images (such as gallery) , again make sure you setup Max. Images and Max. files 4. last option – file upload. You can allow users to upload different types of files including images. |

eae_pt | Hi, I am able to upload images and files but the interface that is displayed is the file uploader of the browser and not the media uploader of WordPress. Do you know why this happens? I have verified all the points that you stated in you answer and the behaviour is still the same. |

Tareq Hasan | As people use the plugin for public post submission, most of them didn’t wanted to expose others uploaded image to other users. Thats why it’s removed and replaced with a plugin native media uploader. |

eae_pt | Thanks, Yes, it makes all the sense for open websites. In our case we will use in a controlled environment. Regards |
