Hello Steve,

You can assign subscription pack from Wp admin->user->Edit user profile. On the bottom of the edit user page you will get this option.

Thanks.

Hi, I have the same problem:

Although I assign the subscription pack (eligable for250 articles) to the sellers profile as described by you above, I get the following error message, when I try to add a new product with this seller account:

Sorry! You can not add any product. Please update your package

Does this only work for users or subscription packs, which were created after the subscription modul was updated to version 1.1?
Thx Robert

Ok, but can you please let me know in advance, how this Feature is supposed to work, if the manual assigned subscription pack has a monthly recurring payment which never stops.

Will the seller then be charged automatically each month or not?

I would need a feature, where the seller is not charged.
Or where you can choose if the seller should be charged or not.

Thx, Robert

Sure, but what do you mean by “it has some issues”?
Do you mean we should not use the subscription Plugin yet?

Hello Robert,

We have fixed those issues. When you will assign subscription pack from backend only non-recurring pack can be assigned. In the current version which is not possible. In our next version this bug will be fixed. We will release our new update for subscription within a couple of days.

Thanks.

Hi Nayem,

In my opinion this coming update makes no sense, if it
– does not work for recurring subscriptions and if it
– does not provide an option for exluding payment

Please think about it.
Thx, Robert

Hello,

It always work for recurring payment. Seller can easily purchase recurring payment. There is no issue with that. But from the admin panel admin will not be able to assign recurring pack because recurring pack will charge seller in every billing cycle. So if admin assign him a recurring pack from backend then seller can be disappointed on this.

– does not provide an option for excluding payment – this part is not clear for me.

In my opinion it has to work for recurring payments, too, because some customers like me just have recurring payments configured.
Preventing the payment is the second part of my message. Ir should be possible to add a user to a (recurring) subscription plan manually and prevent the payment for this user optionally (f.e. by a checkbox).
Thx, Robert

Hello Robert,

If you want to assign recurring pack manually from the user profile then it will not possible. We do not have such kind of feature.

Thanks.
