Tracy Hello... heading into another seperate issue. I am trying to set up the paypal adaptive api ... and Paypal will not approve me. My site is set up like this.... No product commissions... all $ go direct to seller Sellers pay a monthly SUBSCRIPTION fee to me. Paypal says this is not paralell or chained via Paypal Adaptives API... but i need to use THIRD PARTY PRE APPROVAL-Paypal EXPRESS. They will NOT accept me. Nor is there a way to settle this within my dokan/woocommerce. So... what is your insight on this? How do I set up my final cart settings?

PayPals response to my API today:
You MUST use Third Party Preapprovals (PayPal Express Checkout), you simply need to amend your app submission by selecting Preapprovals and deselecting Parallel Payments. You would also need to select the Third Party Permission, “Use Express Checkout to process payments.” This allows your vendors to accept payments from their customers using Express Checkout. That is all that would be needed.

but I see NO WAY in Dokan to use “PayPal Express”… just standard, or API.

Follow these:

1. Get a Paypal approved Premier/Business account
2. In side Paypal settings you can enable Express checkout (not in Dokan/WooCommerce)
3. Apply for Paypal Adaptive payments service (details: http://docs.wedevs.com/get-api-app-id/)

4. Make sure to enable Paypal Payment gateway (from WooCommerce) as well as you are going to use subscriptions feature.

I have done all of those (before posting this)… and there is where the issue is.
DONE 1. Get a Paypal approved Premier/Business account

DONE 4. Make sure to enable Paypal Payment gateway (from WooCommerce) as well as you are going to use subscriptions feature.

Paypal will NOT ALLOW me to do Paralell payments… due that I will not be taking commissions.

The PayPal Adaptives I bought from Dokan is useless for me… since I am not involved with any “taking” from teh buyers payment… 100% goes to seller… so PayPal wont let me do Paralell or Chained (both of which sepearte payments).

YAY! So PayPal is going to work it out with me… they will ALLOW ME TO HAVE PARALLEL Payments for sellers.

However, they are asking that I have PREAPPROVALS (aka PayPal standard) for my Subscriptions.

Is this possible?

I dont want buyers to select the wrong paypal on check out… so ?

Paypal have different policy and procedures for different countries.

I am not sure what did you mean by “PREAPPROVALS (aka PayPal standard)” ?

preapprovasl is not paypal standard. its differnet, using only paypal express. I am in the USA, and so are 99% of my sellers… so the procedures should be same for anyone checkingout.
