jazib | Thanks for the explanation. Did you checked the link that you provided. It’s not working. Further, You are standing at your stance that this plugin doesn’t effect site speed. However, It does with a great impact of up to 14 points less in Google Page Speed. Recently i did extensive research on speed issues. I found after activating WPUF PRO my Google Page Speed falls to 77. And without it the speed boosted to 91. These tests are on main page of URL which has nothing to do with the WPUF Pro. The following Critical Errors( with a must fix warning) given by Google Page Speed after activating it. Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content Plus again with a red label and must fix warning. https://mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-user-frontend-pro/assets/css/frontend-forms.css?ver=4.0 In the Consider Fixing tab I am receiving these recommendations. https://mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-user-frontend-pro/assets/js/frontend-form.js?ver=4.0 My site is hosted with Synthesis. I am thinking of other guys who hosted their sites with cheap hosts. I also don’t understand why all these scripts are loaded on main page. For your Information, I disabled scripts on all pages. |

jazib | Further, Please do something to load scripts on the required pages only. Not on all over the site. Even the results are not much different with disabling scripts on all pages. Thanks. |

Daniel | As an update, I could not justify keeping this plugin on the site, as it was obstructing going live. I have uninstalled it, instead opting for hard coded forms, by following a tutorial. I would like to use this plugin, and I hope you keep on updating it. I think a lot of the problem is that unnecessary code and scripts are being loaded in the front-end on every single page. If you locked down the loading to only pages with forms on them, either by checking for an existing ID, or a specific page-template, it might help to keep the speed up. – oh and make the google maps a feature to turn off – it adds on tons of code. All my best wishes for you. |
