Remove Input Field Color "On Click"

Nayem	I am a new wordpress user and I am having trouble disabling the automatic color change in a user input field when you select it. I am using a glass color style and the input field is transparent before clicking on it, but turns white when clicked on, and the text is also white so you cannot see what you are typing. I would like to keep the text white and simply remove the feature that turns the field white when selected. Any thoughts?
