    Hello,

Please can someone tell me if its possible to show all projects for a specific client (user)?

I have installed a plugin that lists all users on a page that are subscribers (i.e. clients) and want the link of each client name to point to a page that displays the projects for this client.

I am trying to do this on the Front End.

    Thanks

    Hello,

If users will be able to see only the projects which they been assigned to. So, is shouldn't be an issue isn't it?

or, you want to show all projects to everyone?

    Hi Mahi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I am basically trying to generate a page that shows all projects for a particular client. This will be very useful to us.

    For example:

If I browse to “http://mywebsite.com/projects” I can see all open projects.

If I browse to “http://mywebsite.com/projects/?status=archive&page=cpm_projects” I can see all complete projects.

I am looking for a URL, which will display all projects for a specific client(user) such as “http://mywebsite.com/projects/?user_id=7”. However, I am not sure of the syntax required or if this will even work.

    Thanks, hope this makes sense

    Follow these steps:

    1. Install “WPFront User Role Editor” plugin

    2. Create a new user role (ex: special) and choose same capabilities as subscriber role unless, you know what you are doing,

    3. Now go to Project manager -> Settings -> Project Manage Capability -> select special role
Beware, now this role users will be able to edit/delete all projects

    4. Go to that special user's profile and assign him/her to “special” user role

It should works fine now. But, again be careful about whom you are going to give this special access.

My apologies, I'm not sure if I explained my problem well enough.

It would be useful for my team (the admins) to see what projects are assigned to which clients.

For example if we have 10 projects, 3 with client A, 3 with client B and 4 with client C. We want the ability have a page for each client that shows the projects associated with each client. E.g. If we go to Client A's page we will see the 3 projects that are assigned to client A.
