Brenda I updated a couple posts I made here about Stripe for Marketplaces or Stripe Connect and the wedevs folks said make a new topic. So here goes. We wanted to use Stripe connect because it allows parallel payments (the customer is paying your marketplace fee in parallel to the seller's fee at the same time) and diverts the refund process (and liability for such) onto the seller rather than you, the marketplace operator. Stripe as a platform also allows customers to use their credit cards rather than having to have a Paypal account. Because the wedevs folks have a lot on their plate, it wasn't a high priority for the Dokan developers to do a Stripe add-on for Dokan. We really needed the capability to launch our website so we went ahead and did a stripe connect plugin in-house for our own use. We are testing it this week and next. We do plan to go ahead and make it available to users of Wordpress/Dokan with Stripe. If you have an interest in our release of the plugin, please send me a note to stripeconnect [at] gmail [dot] com Now onto sales tax and other fun stuff. Brenda

Hello Brenda,

Great Work 🙂 Have you considered Stripe Marketplace (https://stripe.com/au/marketplaces) for Dokan?

That is the same thing. Marketplace uses Stripe Connect, yes.
