Hello,

I just created a test site to try your plugin. I created a new form and gave it 2 fields: title and url.

All I want is for my users to be able to submit links to all sort of things.

But my problem is, I need a script that would scrap data from all external urls: title,description,thumbnail and display them within the post.

Is that possible?
Even if I have to modify the core php files of the plugins…

That is certainly possible.

You can use the action hooks/filter provided by the plugin, no need to
modify the core files. When someone submits the post, you can add a
function as hook and fetch external resources and save them to your post
meta or even update the post itself.
function update_my_brand_new_hook( $post_id ) {
// do the scraping and update the post
}

add_action( ‘wpuf_add_post_after_insert', ‘update_my_brand_new_hook' );
add_action( ‘wpuf_edit_post_after_update', ‘update_my_brand_new_hook' );
BTW, have you purchased the plugin yet?
