Tareq Hasan Hi guys Which user role should I give if I want users to be able to edit their own posts? If I set it to 'author' the edit page displays the message 'You are not allowed to edit'. When I set the role to 'editor' I get the message 'I don't know how to edit this post, I don't have the form ID'. In both cases i selected the correct form in the WPUF meta box on the edit page. I also set the 'edit page' under General Options and I check that 'users can edit posts' box under 'Dashboard'. Am i missing something? Thanks. Regards, Paul Zurink

The plugin doesn’t depend on the user role. If post editing option is enabled and you are the author, you can edit the post. Also you have the Editor role, you can edit all users post.

If you are getting “You are not allowed to edit” error, simply it means he didn’t created that post.

If you are getting “…I don’t have the form ID” error, the post doesn’t have a form attached and it doesn’t know what form to use to edit that post. See the FAQ. You can also chose a default form from the plugin settings.
