Hi. then moved to another server and get the Error message. Currently we are developing with subdomain, which will change as soon as we go live with this project. How should we proceed? If we ask you to deactivate, we have to wait until you are ready – not good. Is the plugin fully functional while the error pops up? If so, should we wait until we move to the final domain and simply ignore the message meanwhile? Thanks for your help.

Hi there, I’m having the same issue with activating on the dev environment and not being able to do it live – please could you deactivate the license for WPUF User Frontend Pro for my account’s email address (I don’t want to paste it here). I suggest you add a link in the plugin allowing users to do this manually so that they don’t have to request it every time… Thank you

We understand that, but it isn’t made clear whilst using the plugin that this is the case. And it requests, on installation of the plugin, that it be activated, so the user is simply following instructions. Perhaps put a large notice on the activation page of plugin stating that it shouldn’t be done on a development server? Perhaps as an agreement of sorts – a simple button that they click to unhide the activation form using Javascript? Otherwise maybe use a regex to determine if the domain being registered from is a proper one (not an IP or local domain), and prompt the user to ask if he/she is sure that they wish to activate the license? Just a suggestion 🙂

Thank you for your suggestion Ross. I have forwarded this idea to the development team. Hope they will follow this from the next update. 🙂

Hello, I’m experiencing the same problem. I’m under the impression that deactivating the license and activating it again would solve it. I contacted you via the contact form. Please proceed or let me know what I can do. Thanks! |
