    Hello,

We are using the Sportspress Pro plugin along with WP User Frontend Pro to allow the players & staff to create their custom post type profile pages from the frontend. However, I need a little help to cross the finish line. The plugin is set up to handle the Custom Taxonomies from Sportspress for league, season, venue, position and role. But the fields under Details and Metrics are my final challenge.

    I hope you can.

    Hello Gloria,

You did not clear what the Details and Metrics field will do.

Can you please send me suitable screenshot then I can understand your requirements.

    Thanks

    Hello Gloria,

You can use the custom fields with their meta keys.
Make a post from wp-admin and inspect the custom field's meta keys by installing “Post Meta Inspector” plugin and use that keys in User Frontend's form.

Let me know if you feel confused and need more clarification.

    Thanks

    Thanks Towhid,

I now am facing yet another challenge. The user can see the form and the dashboard. The user can create the custom post type. The user is redirected to the newly created post after submit. The user cannot edit post. Also the post does not show up in the user dashboard.

    Hello Gloria,

Make sure you have set [wpuf_dashboard] shortcode in the dashboard page.

Also register a user as a contributor, author, editor but not as a subscriber. Because a subscriber can not edit any post but can read only.

    Thanks

    Hello Towhid,

I used the plugin as you suggested and found the data that I want on the form. But I'm not clear on how to add it to the form. What are the steps?

    sp_metrics'a:5:{s:6:”school”;s:32:”St. Vincent St. Mary High School”;s:5:”grade”;s:2:”10″;s:14:”graduationdate”;s:4:”2018″;s:6:”height”;s:4:”5\' 8″;s:6:”weight”;s:3:”145″;}'

    Hello Gloria,

Please check the following documentation. Hope you will get an idea how to accomplish meta key in WPUF by custom field.

    Hello again towhid,

We are moving forward with lighting speed. I read the tutorial and fully understand it. What I don't understand is what to do with the variables in the meta key. For example under sp_metrics there are five variables: school, grade, graduationdate, height, weight

I don't know how to enter the array so that each item is an individual field.

Ready for another layer of complexity? We are using s2member pro. None of the users are subscribers. They are all paid level1 and above.

Hi Towhid, should I just give you access so that you can get straight to the heart of the matter? Or would like to do a screen share so that I can show you exactly what the problems are?

Please provide your login details by using this form: http://wedevs.com/provide-login-details/. I will have a look what is going wrong.

Can you please create a screencast for me.

    Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚
