If you have customized anything in the core file of this add-on then you will loose those data when the plugin will be updated. So you should override the add-on file through child theme. It is safe to override.

    Thanks.

Could you explain how I can do this?

    Hello,

There is no filter to override the code through add-on or child theme. You have to insert those code in core file. But create a backup of this code.

    Thanks.

But then I would still be changing the core code, which would mean I would still loose the code everytime there's an update.

    Hello,

We will put those code in your theme file. Then it will help you to override that function.

    Thanks.

There is a theme in your site- swift-child. Check that theme function.php file.

If you mean zerif-lite-child then I guess something went wrong, because the only functions in there are mine and are no longer used. Our server-side has been rigorously secured, blocking any FTP upload or non-root edits. I found a functions.php.save in the child folder, more evidence that something didn't go as planned.

There's a work-around though, could you give me the code you tried to implement? I will put it in via my personal ssh account.
