Mahi I just recently purchased Frontend Pro - and I'm trying to use one of the features outlined in the brief: "Admins can manage their users from frontend" Can someone point me in the right direction for this? I have looked all over and found no documentation to support the feature. Thanks!

Hello,
where did you see – “Admins can manage their users from frontend” states ?
It is “all users can manage their posts from frontend.”

If you can show us we mentioned this feature in our site anywhere which misguided you we will be happy to provide 100% refund if required also it will help us to correct any mistakes may occurred.

Hi Mahi,

Thanks for the quick reply. On this page: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-user-frontend/

Under, “Features”, the second to last bullet is: “Admins can manage their users from frontend”.

Just wondering how I can do that?

Thanks!

This was a feature in the free version where appropriate user could edit other users profile in the frontend. But due to change of plugin how-it-works, the feature was removed from the free version.

Hi Tareq,

Totally understand. However, as that was an advertised feature and not part of what we purchased, I would like to request a refund.

How would I go about doing so?

Thanks,

JW

I am sorry to say, but I can’t give you a refund. Because we are selling the PRO version in our site and the PRO version’s feature is way different than the free version and it’s mentioned in the plugin features page. What you saw is the feature of the free version, not the PRO one. But you guessed the feature would still be there, nothing wrong with that!

But as you bought the developer license, I will not disappoint you. I’ll release a small add-on that will bring the feature back, but in that case you’ve to wait for a few weeks. I hope that will work for your needs.

Hi Tareq,

I only assumed that the feature would be available because: a)it says so on the WP Plugin site, b) I wasn’t expecting features to disappear in the paid version. It is strange to me (and I’m sure others) that features available in the unpaid version are not available in the paid version – obviously it is usually the other way around.

I appreciate the add-on feature. However, as Mahi pointed out, we were mislead by the information on the WordPress Plugin site, thus entitling us to a refund.

While I appreciate the add-on, the functionality was needed for a rush-job and we’ve missed our window. Can something be done here?

Thanks,

JW

Hello JW,

I was pointing to PRO version features and you were pointing to free version features.

However, as i gave my word i am happy to refund but, we have to do it other way.

Hope you do understand that for virtual product there is no way to return it, so we are going to charge you for single license which will cost you $49, so i will refund you $110.
If in future you decide to upgrade again when addons are available for developer license free we will be more than happy to upgrade your license.

Does it sounds fair?

Please confirm here so i can proceed with refund.

and, i do apology for any misunderstanding.

Mahi –

That seems fair. Thank you for your understanding.

Please let me know if any further action is necessary on my part.

Thanks,

JW
