Sekander Badsha | Hi All, I would like to build a after post submission action hook which utilises 2 dropdowns to assign a post to a specific usergroup, as an example: dropdown 1 has countries - South Africa, Namibia etc dropdown 2 has industries - plumbers, electricians etc if country "South Africa" and industry "plumbers" are selected then this post will allocated to a usergroup called "South Africa plumbers" I know i would need to build a series of IF statements, but firstly need to establish if the plugin allows for this. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated, Thanks |

Sekander Badsha | Hello Gregg, I am not clear about you idea. There is no feature in WordPress to make user groups or make category of users. There is a lot of closer solutions out there like – membership plugins, social networking plugins etc but I am not sure which one would be fit for you. So I would suggest you to consult a senior developer about it. But if the idea is about just categorizing the posts only, then you can make categories of the posts easily through checkboxes, dropdowns etc. And the would be really easy and would not require any coding. Let me know if I have got anything wrong. 🙂 |
