Sekander Badsha We are using front end pro with woo commerce and multi vendor plugin. Since 3.9 version of wordpress no longer able to upload images to text areas this is used so that vendors can add logos. Error is simply An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later. This however DOES work when logged in as admin so it could be a permissions error. Please advise

Hello Gary,
I need to be clear about one thing, are you trying to upload a image in a text area or in the editor?
Image uploads and alignments works well with Richtext Editor. You may use image or file upload field as well to upload images to your posts.

PS: We have a multivendor app theme that runs over WooCommerce, just like the multivendor plugin. You check this out here http://wedevs.com/theme/dokan/

The only place the vendor can upload the image for their page would be in
the text area currently and that is the ONLY place this error seems to
occur.

The developer says they will be adding logo upload but when that will be is
anyones guess.

Also looked at your multi seller plugin. We have spent too much on current
one for now but may consider it later.

Like ours it is missing something quite major

Okay. I need be clear one more time. On a different thread, you said that the issue was with your file permissions. Is that solved? Or You’re still having the issues?

No there is no issue on folder permissions. I was saying it looks like an error in the programming

In other words

1. Admin can upload to text area
2. User/vendor can not upload to text area

This could be as simple as a permissions issue on uploads for that role.

Hope that makes more sense.

None of our users reported such kind of issue. You may disable all other plugin except User Frontend and activate on of the default theme of WordPress, like – Twenty Fourteen and see if the issue persists or not.

If disabling all the plugins, using the default theme doesn’t help, and the file and folder permissions are normal, then provide us your admin login credentials and FTP to inspect.
