Nayem Hi, I would like to automatically attribute a role (Writer) when a user post something by using one of my form. Is it possible to do that ? Or, if it's not, at least create a "checkbox" on my form which could tell : "I'm a writer" and when the user check it, it automatically get the role that I want. Do you have any idea to do it ? Hello Sébastien,

I am not clear about your idea. Can you please describe a little more?.

Are you trying to:

1. Register new user as writer while posting?

2. Check user role if it is writer, then he can use the form. Otherwise he will be warned that he is not authorized to use this form?

Please confirm and let me know.

Thank you 🙂

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
When my user create an account on my website, he get the ‘reader’ role.

But, IF a user use the form to post an article, he get automatically the
new role of writer.

If the ‘reader’ just read and don’t use the form.. He keep this Reader
role.

So thanks to that, I can email only my ‘writer’.

Thanks
Sébastien

The feature you asking about is very much complex. You need to hire a developer to make this feature.
