Mahi Hi Just bought the pro-version with the front-end add-on and I understood from the page settings that I could get the tasklist and calendar to show frontend. What shortcode do I need to use? Using [cpm] gives me all the projects, that part is working. thanks Karin

Hi Karin,

We haven’t updated the frontend plugin, so you were using the older version. Please download again from your account dashboard at wedevs.com.

Shortcodes:
Calendar: [cpm_calendar]
My Tasks: [cpm_my_task]

Hi Tareq,

These shortcodes aren’t really all that apparent. Is there a location where all of these shortcodes are listed?

thanks,

Peter

Hello Peter,

Sorry for inconvenience. We are aware of it. Another update will be released later today with few bugs fixed.

It seems that neither shortcode, for the calendar and the task list, seem to work properly. Nothing is being published. Am I doing something wrong?

@Peter, do you have the latest frontend plugin installed?

Hi Tareq,

I’m using the version I purchased and downloaded yesterday…

WP Project Manager – Frontend v1.2.

Is this the version I should be using?

Currently, I have the Task page issue resolved. Only the project front-end page isn’t working. On the Calendar page, only the word ‘Calendar’ appears. The backend calendar seems to work properly.

Calendar has a small JS error, we’ll fix it soon.

Hi Tareq,

Has the frontend calendar issue been resolved? I’m not seeing any resolution with the latest update.

Hello Peter,

Its been resolved on previous version. Please update your plugin. If you can’t see update notification from your admin area then please re-download it from your Dashboard and install manually.

Hi Mahi,

thanks for the response. I don’t see an update notification in my admin area. It seems that I’ll have to do the update manually. When I do it manually, I don’t want to lose my data. It would kill my business if I lose my projects. So, do I only need to deactivate the plugin before upgrading? Or do I need to completely delete the plugin before updating? Please advise.

Thanks,

Peter

You will not lose any data peter. You can just deactivate the plugin and update notification should be visible.
Not, sure why it works that way! we will fix this on next version.

Else, you can download > Unzip > then upload on your server plugins/wp project manager/ by using any FTP program and overwrite any existing file. It should works fine.
