I am having a few issues with the Dokan software. Can you please help me figure this out?
Problems for customers:
When you go to cart and press the proceed to checkout button it will just end up in the cart again. It does work if you go straight to the checkout button in the top menu.
Problems for vendors:
When a vendor goes to Dashboard > Products > Add a new product the only thing the vendor can fill in is the price and product details. So the vendor is not able to add a product name,photo’s,short description,category and product tags.
I am as well trying to get a search bar in the top menu, but can’t figure out how I do this?
I did not change anything in these pages, so I have no idea what the problem could be.

I have tried to reproduce this issue but failed. Make sure you had properly configured Dokan settings. If the issue still persists then check for your theme or plugin conflicts. You can disable all your plugins except Dokan and switch to a default theme of WordPress like – Twenty Twelve, Twenty Thirteen, Twenty Fourteen and let me know the results.

I have tried it again and my Dokan settings seem to be correct, but still having the same issues. I could disable all the plugins and change the team but then I loose all my work I have put in the website until this point. Is there any other way this problem can be fixed? My theme is supported by woo commerce so it should be able to work right?

I am having the same exact problem; and would also be interested in a solution.

In the WP Admin dashboard create a new user with the “Seller” role. Give it an email and login you can use. Log out of the admin account; and use the new account to check. If that works; it could be that the WP settings have the customer role defaulted when someone creates an account, and you just have to update it according to your site. As you can see in the post above it didn't work out for me yet. Still with a different user I can create a new product in the dashboard. Any idea why?

Please update latest dokan version is 2.3 which has recently released. Hope you will not get those inconsistencies after the update.

I just did the update but unfortunately it didn't make a change on the product uploading problem. Maybe you can check again? What did change is that when you click on the cart button it will directly go to the cart!! So that is very good news for me and this will also solve your problem @james

Can you please send me a screenshot about the glitch and send me a user name for test purpose. I want to see the product uploading issue through mobile devices.
