Nayem | Good Morning, We have the following issue with WP Project Manager Pro. We are running it on P2 theme with Front-End Pro extension too. Administrator users can create projects without any problem from the frontend and all is running perfectly. But, Contributors and Authors, when they try to create a project from the front-end, the window "Start a New project" appears, but all blank. So doesn't show the Project Name and details fields, the category drop-down list or the buttons to create the new project. Trying with a Contributor user when he is from the back-end all runs ok and can create projects (the "New project" window shows all fields, but we don't want to users get access to the backend. So I guess there is a bug with the Front-End Extension? Or there is any permissions mod we have to do? Thank you so much in advance for your support. |

Josep Ma, | Nayem, for sure, sorry to forget that. This is what an Administrator user see when he clicks on new project: This is what a Contributor and Author see when they click on new project: Let me know any additional info you need. Thanks, |

Nayem | Hello Josep, I will suggest you to check for theme and plugin conflict. Please disable all of your plugin expect Project manager and Project manager frontend then switch to a default WP theme. If the problem remain then please let me know. Thanks. |

Josep Ma, | Dear Nayem, We’ve followed your suggestion without success. We’ve disabled all the plugins and switched to Twenty Thirteen theme and the problem stills there. Here you have the screenshots: We’re running WordPress 4.1.1. |

Josep Ma, | Dear Nayem, As I said before will be complicated to give you a login as we run the server locally and haven’t the site published in Internet. BUT, I’ve found a quite strange solution. Seeing how with administrator users the plugin works ok, I tried the following with the User Role Editor plugin: Select / Unselect permissions until I could make work the plugin with Contributors and Authors users. The permission I’ve found to work is the delete_pages capability. Please take a look on next screenshot: If I check the “delete_pages” setting for Contributors and Authors, automatically with this users I can see everything in the box when I go to create a New Project. Any idea of what is happening? I would not like to get that permission to those users if I could find another solution. By other hand, would you update the front-end pro plugin to get the new features (progress, reports) also from the front-end? Thank you so much in advance for your support. |
