Create posts with certain portfolio gallery

Tareq Hasan	Hi there, I have a form which creates posts of type portfolio. Does anyone know how to force the new posts be of a certain portfolio gallery? I can add a gallery selector to the form, but I don't want the user to be able to choose. Many thanks, Simon

Mahi	Hello Simon, When you create form – under Post settings -> Post type , here you should be able to select portfolio type. and, if you have Custom Taxonomies categories then you should be able to assign custom category same as regular category.

Simon	Hi Mahi, thanks for that. I can use what you describe to select the posts to be of type portfolio, but how can I force them to be in a particular portfolio _gallery_? That way I can make them show up on separate galleries on separate pages. Thanks, Simon

Tareq Hasan	You can select a category in the “Post Settings” tab by default. But if your portfolio post type uses a custom taxonomy instead of the default “category” taxonomy, you won’t be able to do that.
