First of all, thank you for your great plugin 🙂 ! I plan to buy the Premium version as soon as I got my answer 😉 !
First of all, I have a custom post types wich is Web agencies. It is a listing of the web agencies in my country. What I need is to “link” users to an agency.
So I was wondering if we can create a select box with all the items of a custom post type on a the registration page and in the profile page. Like the plugin “Advanced Custom Fields” does with his “RelationShip” field.
In fact, I need a bit more help and clarification before I buy your plugin, which seems to be awesome 🙂 !
Here is what I need to do and my project :
My website will be a directory of companies and workers. On the registration process, workers will have to type their personal informations and will be allowed to choose their company in a dropdown list (if the company has already been created). If a worker choose an already created company, he will be a “member” of this company : it mean that his name will be listed in the company page. If the company is not created, the worker can let the dropdown list blank and create a company. He type the informations of the company and can also choose (thanks to repeated dropdown list) the workers of the company. The workers can't edit the company page, the creator of the company can.
So I need to link workers (users) and companies (custom post type). And give one worker the ability to edit the company page, but not the other. How would you do that with your plugin ? Or maybe something else…?
Thank you very much for your time,
PS : For sure, all this has to be achieve through the Front-End.
I can't say all those things you can do with the plugin right upfront. I don't think you expect the plugin will create company (custom post type) and will link to other users (workers) or will create the workers on the fly. Those can be done, but it needs some customization.
