Dokan 2.1 Seller Dashboard progress bar?

| Brenda | Existing sellers with existing stores are getting "Start with adding a Banner to gain profile progress" at top of the dashboard. ?? Looks like a great feature for NEW sellers to add their store but no progress on the bar and no way for it to disappear. ?? Please explain intent and how to deal with. Thanks! | Doesn’t work for new seller either. The bar just stays there and doesn’t progress dynamically. | Hello Brendha, After completing every steps you have to click on the Update Settings button. After uploading the banner please click on the update settings button. Thanks. |

| It doesn’t have anything to do with “update settings” it just doesn’t work with our theme (Kadence Virtue) so we commented it out (location templates/dashboard.php). We did find it working w/ Dokan theme in our test site but we do not like having no control over what items constitute “progress” for our sellers so we are better off without it on our own site. If the admin (on back end of Dokan) someday has ability to set up the progress bar (e.g. I don’t want my sellers to HAVE to include their social media for 2% competition…) then it would be great. At this point, it is an “extra” that we don’t need. Core functionality that we DO need? Things like the ability for sellers to add tags on the front end. Brenda |
