Dokan Auction – Out of Stock

| towhid | Hi, I have several support threads, but this one is perhaps my biggest setback to being able to launch the website. I am trying to run some test auctions with test buyers and sellers, but whenever my test buyer tries to make a bid, it says "You cannot a place bid for "XYZ" because the product is out of stock." The product is however an auction, and nowhere that I see, can I indicate a quantity for the auction item. Whenever I add a new auction listing item, I get the message "Success! The product has been updated successfully." but when I go to the user dashboard for auction listings, https://rerunlax.com/dashboard/auction/ it reads "Out of Stock" I can't complete a test auction purchase at this point in time, and can't find a solution to indicate that the item is not out of stock. | Hi, Yes, as I have done test listings the “out of stock” error has gone away, and I am able to proceed to checkout with my test buyer in a separate browser from the admin and the seller. Yet, as I proceed with checkout with the test buyer, I keep getting the error “Invalid shipping method.” before being directed to PayPal. I have tried changing the WooCommerce selling locations to just the United States and all countries, and the error is the same. I have also tried editing the shipping settings within the seller account at https://rerunlax.com/dashboard/settings/shipping/ for a default shipping price. Yet I still get the same error, “Invalid shipping method.” I am unable to launch the website until we are able to successfully run a test auction. Please advise. Thank you. |

| Hello Anastasia, Please let me know is it necessary to enable shipping feature with auction? If not, you can disable the shipping feature. To disable the shipping feature please navigate to WooCommerce->Settings->Shipping Options->Enable shipping(disable) and Enable the shipping calculator on the cart page(disable). Thanks |

| Hi, Yes, as the auction items are tangible items that have to be sent in the mail, we anticipate that most sellers will want to have the option to collect shipping in addition to the winning bid. I have temporarily disabled the shipping feature to do a test buy/sell transaction, which went smoothly with no other errors. But, ultimately we anticipate that this will be important for sellers to be able to make money by using our site. Please let me know how it can be configured to collect shipping without the error.
