Hello I am having 2 problems which is holding my site back to gaining more visitors. 1. My sellers wish to import their store products from other websites to their store on my marketplace, I purchased the Dakan Import Export Plugin months ago and have not been ablke to get it to work. Once I have installed and navigate to Dashboard -> Tools I am given a blank page. I have tried to disable all other plugins and I still have the same problem, I have even tried to use dokan theme, and even tried on a fresh instal. Can you send me the updated plugin I notice others have had the same problem. 2. I have a list of categories so that new sellers can add a variety of different products, but not all categories have products listed. I need the categories so sellers can choose when listing products, but I would like categories and subcategories which do not have products to be hidden on front end for customers searching products. This is because I have visitors at the moment which use the marketplace and leave once they see multiple categories that are empty. Is there any code I can add to remove unused categories on homepage? I know its possible for Woocommerce Categories but for Dokan I dont know. Thank You Gary

Hi Nayem, Thanks for helping to restore the import/export page on the dashboard. I have just tried to upload a XML file which I created using an external software and when I try to Import I get this message: Fatal error: Call to a member function import() on a non-object in /wp-content/plugins/wedevs-dokan-export-import/templates/template_importer.php on line 32 Can you please help to fix this, the login details are the same as I last forwarded to you. I would really appreciate this as I can then start to add more sellers to the marketplace. Kind Regards Gary

Hi Nayem thanks for your help again. I’m running into one final problem. I have successfully imported and exported using the plugin on a store. However when attempting to import from a XML file which was not created using the dokan-import-export-plugin I am given this message: I have used another web content extractor software to create this file, not wordpress. Other sellers have files created from their own sites too, is there a way to make the file compatible with wordpress and this plugin? Or is it possible to assign csv or xml files on the backend for each seller? Thank you 🙂

Hello Gray, You have to use WooCommerce compatible XML file. Otherwise you will not be able to import them. Thank you 🙂 |
